Mustangs Announce 2010 Tryouts

The Madison Mustangs and Athletic Republic have teamed up for the third consecutive year to host the 2010 Madison Mustangs Tryout/Combine Saturday January 16th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hitters Sportsplex (3170 Deming Way) in Middleton, WI. The cost is $30 for anyone that registers prior to Jan. 16th and $40 day of (no credit cards). All participants will receive a T-shirt and will participate in the following tests:

• - 40 yard Dash
• - 5-10-5 yd. Pro Agility
• - Broad Jump
• - Bench Press @ 225 lbs.
• - Height / Weight / Flex
• - Individual Position Group Drills
• - 6 on 7 Pass Skelly (backs only)
• - One-on-ones (OL/DL)

If you think you have what it takes to "Be a Mustang" then you need to register at www.madisonmustangsfootball.com, click on Be a Mustang, and be a part of our tryout/combine. All participants are required to wear athletic apparel and cleats; mouth guard is suggested but not required.

The Madison Mustangs are an AAA level semi-pro football club and a part of the Ironman Football League. While a Madison team has been involved in the IFL for 9 years, the Mustangs, sense their inception in 2007, have compiled a 30-4-1 record, 3 Franchise of the Year awards, 2 Ironbowl Championships, 2009 Coaching Staff of the Year, 2 Tommy Roach award winners (Top QB), 1 IFL MVP, and 41 IFL All-stars. The Mustangs finished their 2009 season with their second consecutive undefeated season and are ranked as the #1 team in WI. and the Midwest, and #3 (NFE), #4 (semi pro bcs), and #12 (MLFN) in the Country. The Madison Mustangs pride themselves in being recognized as one of the top semi-pro organizations in the Country and provide their players with that same level of respect to make their overall experience the best possible.
