Madison Mustang Dance Team Tryout

The Madison Mustang Dance Team will provide halftime entertainment (pom, kick, and hip-hop style dances), sideline dances, and cheering during Madison Mustang Football home games. The team plays outdoors at Middleton High School.

Dancers for the Mustangs MUST:
* Be women age 18 or older
* Be able to attend home games (schedule on the website) and practices
* Have reliable transportation to and from games/practices

TRYOUT INFORMATION:
Tryouts will be held Tuesday evening, May 18th, from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Lincoln Elementary School gymnasium (909 Sequoia Tr).

Wear: Comfortable dance attire (no baggy clothes) and dance shoes (jazz shoes or sneakers).

Bring:
*Your summer schedule/calendar
*A dance/entertainment resume and/or head shot if you've got 'em!
*Driver's license or other proof of age.

The tryout will consist of:
* Learning and performing a pom-style dance routine
* Demonstration of skills (turn, double-turn, leap, splits, toe-touch)
* Brief interview with coach(es)
*We will be looking for great attitudes and personalities in addition to performance and technique-- Mustang Dancers represent the entire team!!

Dancers who make the team:
Must provide their own shoes (Capezio Pro Impact Trainer Lightweight Sneaker, $41.75 @ Discountdancesupply.com). Uniforms and poms will be provided by the team.
